RWT, as the Official Partner to REACT, the global anti-counterfeiting network, were honored to recently collaborate and host the Annual Authentication of Counterfeit Products 2024 for Law Enforcement Authorities in Anti-Counterfeiting Efforts in Thailand.

This interactive training and workshop held on August 22th, 2024, offered specific insights from Brand Representatives with active and attendance  from multiple areas of law enforcement and IP infringement throughout Thailand.

The Annual Event included multiple agencies and areas of Anti-Counterfeiting efforts including Senior Officials from the Metropolitan Police Bureau, the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD Police), The Royal Thai Customs in Thailand as well as the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau.

With over 18 International Brands being featured during this special event, the event offered a forum to gain updated insight into the current measures being taken to suppress illegal activities as well as providing a forum for market-leaders in various industries including Brand Representatives from luxury fashion, sportswear, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, jewelry, automotive, electronics and personal care industries to have the opportunity to clearly communicate directly with the officials.

The Event offers Enforcement Officials with the most up-to-date and detailed information provided to authorities in order to enhance and further collaborate effectively in their Anti-Counterfeiting Efforts. In this interactive setting, the setting provides enforcement authorities with the updated tools and information for identifying as well as  effectively enforcing the Intellectual Property Rights of these Brands.

Since 2016, RWT has been dedicated to the advancement of Brand Protection Training thru collaboration and fostering of open communication between both brand representatives, global partners, and the dedicated agencies tasked with the suppression of illegal goods being imported, exported, or illegally sold in Thailand.
